Finally satisfied my urge for a curry laksa yesterday.. used Mallard that I had available for an out of ordinary very deep rich gamey hue to the flavours.. As my grandmother taught me many many moons ago, you simply have to have the basics and become inventive with the ingredients at hand.. Soooooo Yummy !!! Wantan mee tonight !!! Oh how I wish I were back in food heaven AKA Malaysia !!!..lol..

Ps.. Yesterday converted the Laksa curry soup into a Fish head curry using head of a big bass I caught last Nov. Added some curry leaves for extra Umph.. 'Waste not Want not' Lah!!!, as my 'Amah' ( Njonja granny ) would say !!! lol Have a lovely weekend..a month ago
