This is my second time making these CNY peanut cookies. The first time I made them, which was two years ago, one of my aunt commented that it was the best peanut cookies she's eaten... and she's very particular/picky with her food, so coming from her means something! Decided to make them again this year, especially since it is a lot harder to find them here in Melbourne this year. I used granulated sugar this time instead of caster sugar and I love the added crunchy texture it brings ~ you taste the saltiness first as you bite into bits of peanuts before the sugary goodness kicks in.
