I grew up in Malaysia and spent most of my adulthood in the US. Thankful to live in Hawaii where we are leading a more self sustainable life. I’ve been recreating a lot of my favorite Malaysian recipes from my childhood memories to share with my two young kids.

With fresh curry leaves from my garden and kerisik made from fresh coconut, I made this yummy dish for my family’s Chinese  New Year Eve dinner. Worth the extra steps in loved with preparing this dish !
