How do I create an account?

On the top right of the website, tap on sign up and fill out the details. Follow the steps on the screen to create an account.

Do I need to pay for an account?

No. Your account with us is and will be free.

How can I change shipping addresses?

You can add, update and remove shipping addresses from within your account settings anytime. Navigate to addresses in your account settings. You can also select a shipping address as the default shipping address for future purchases.

How can I manage payment methods?

At the moment we only accept credit cards and debit cards as payment method. Navigate to payment methods in your account settings to add or remove cards.

When I sign up, will I automatically receive updates on new recipes or products?

No, unless you chose to subscribe to our newsletter during sign up. To subscribe to our newsletter, log into your account and find the notifications panel in your settings. Check the box to ”Receive recipe inspirations”.

I forgot my password. How do I recover my password?

Open the reset password page to submit the email address you’ve registered your account with. Confirm by clicking the‘request reset’ button. You should then receive an email with instructions to reset your password.

The password reset instructions never arrive.

After resetting your password, an email will be sent out to you immediately. In rare cases, the email may land in your spam folder. If no email arrives after a few minutes, please contact us.

Is my password securely stored?

Nyonya Cooking always cryptographically protects passwords using a technique known by security experts as “salted hashing” with a function called bcrypt. The benefit of hashing passwords is that we never need to store passwords in plain text. Using a unique salt for each password in combination with the hashing algorithms makes it very difficult and requires significant computer resources to crack these hashed passwords.

Can I hide my profile information from search engines?

We value your privacy and have given you an option to protect your profile from being indexed by search engines. Go to your profile settings and uncheck the “Public profile” box. This will prevent access to visitors who have not signed in.

How do I unsubscribe from newsletters?

You can unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our newsletter email.
