I used chicken thighs to make the satay and grilled them on a griddle pan. 

I also made the peanut sauce and nasi impit  to go with these delicious satay.
Sweet Nyonya chang with pandan kaya filling.

Pandan flavoured coconut jam with deep fried crispy mantou buns.
I find it more interesting to add a dollop of creme fraiche to the kaya. This makes the kaya more creamy and a little tangy to balance its sweetness.
