(Penang) Char Kuey Teow
The kuey teow has completely disintegrated! It looks more like a kuey teow porridge than firm kuey teow ribbons. The eggs weren't well cooked. There was not enough oil in the wok.
- mira: :( That didn't turn out right, I see. You are right. More oil will be needed unless you use a non-stick wok/pan. The effect will be different but you can be sure that the noodles will not disintegrate. Give it another try. Practice makes perfect!
- grace: Sorry to hear that it didn't work out. Did you use 2 tablespoons of oil for each portion?
- robin: Thank you for feedback, mira & grace. The noodles disintegrated because they are inferior noodles sold in the Asian Grocery Store. Should get better noodles quality next time. I didn't fry in portions as advised, but will certainly do so when I'm more skillful :)
